The Giusti Museum comes alive

A special performance through the rooms of the Giusti Museum

Acetaie Aperte (literally "Opened Vinegar factories") is a Sunday event launched to promote Balsamic Vinegar culture and hospitality. It occurs every year at the end of September and for the occasion Giusti proposes an unusual version of the classic guided tour.

We took part in the latest editions of Acetaie Aperte sharing the history of the Giusti family with a unique theatre performance through the rooms of our Museum and of the Ancient Ageing Rooms. An exceptional Museum tour animated by three funny and talented characters that entertained and inspired our guests.

On the day dedicated to Balsamic Vinegar of Modena, the Giusti Museum showed the long and fascinating history of our Acetaia with a special performance. Three eccentric characters explained the tradition of donating Balsamic Vinegar to sons as a dowry, the numerous journeys in Europe on the occasion of the Great Expositions, up to the first recipe to obtain a perfect Balsamic Vinegar.
